While Cyberpunk 2077 may have been delayed until November, fans are about to get another glimpse into this futuristic sci-fi world. Dark Horse Books and CD Projekt RED have joined forces to release The World of Cyberpunk 2077, a hardcover art book that delves into the history and lore of this in-game universe. IGN can exclusively debut several new pages from this upcoming release. Step into the year 2077, a world dotted with dystopian metropoles where violence, oppression, and cyberware implants aren't just common--they're necessary tools to get ahead. Delve into incisive lore to discover how the economic decline of the United States created a crippling dependence on devious corporations and birthed the Free State of California. Explore the various districts, gangs, and history of Night City. Learn all there is to know about the technology of tomorrow and research the cybernetics, weapons, and vehicles of Cyberpunk 2077.
The World of Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on Tuesday, July 28. The book is available in both a standard version priced at $39.99 and a deluxe edition priced at $99.99. IGN recently got a hands-on preview of Cyberpunk 2077, and the game is looking very promising indeed.
