Elden Ring is available for a massive discount on the PlayStation Store, with this being the first time it has been on sale on PSN since its release in February 2022. Elden Ring is one of the biggest releases of 2022 and it has been a critical as well as commercial success for From Software. As of September 30, Elden Ring has sold an impressive 17.5 million copies globally, and it continues to be a part of sales charts.

Elden Ring is the highest-rated new game of 2022 as it currently holds a score of 96 on Metacritic. Its critical success has been accompanied by the various awards Elden Ring has received, including the title of the best game of 2022 at The Game Awards. Now, Elden Ring is on sale on the PlayStation Store for the first time ever.
Both standard and deluxe editions of Elden Ring are discounted as a part of a massive holiday sale on the PlayStation Store. Also known as the January sale, fans can get Elden Ring for $41.99 on PS5 and PS4, a 30% discount from its regular price of $59.99. The deluxe version, which comes with a digital artbook and soundtrack, is also available for 30% off as the offer brings it down to $55.99 from $79.99. This discount is valid until January 7, 2023, so gamers have plenty of time to decide.

PlayStation Blog describes the January sale as the biggest promotion of the year, as a vast number of games and DLC are on sale. This includes titles like Horizon Forbidden West, FIFA 23, Gran Turismo 7, Cyberpunk 2077, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and many more. Some recently released games like Need for Speed Unbound are also on sale, and fans can head over to the PlayStation Store for the full list.

Elden Ring has continued to sell well throughout 2022, which may be the reason why it hasn’t been discounted on the PlayStation Store until now. Players can expect it to be one of the highest-selling games of 2022 alongside titles like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and God of War Ragnarok.
FromSoftware released a free update for Elden Ring on December 8, opening up the various Colosseums for gamers to participate in PvP battles. While some users may have wanted single-player DLC, From Software has hinted at more Elden Ring content being currently in development.
