During Sony's State of Play, it was revealed Crash, Coco, and Neo Cortex won't be the only playable characters in Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time. Developer Toys for Bob announced returning foe Dingodile will also be playable in the upcoming sequel, alongside the announcement of a new N. Verted mode. Crash nemesis Dingodile, the half-crocodile, half-dingo foe, joins the playable roster. Verted mode, a twisted take on mirror modes, as players will be collecting Bumpa berries instead of the traditional Wumpa fruit. And as previously teased via preorder bonuses, Crash Bandicoot 4 will feature unlockable costumes, which are totally cosmetic and can be unlocked by players earning gems and completing challenges throughout Crash 4. IGN also previously spoke with Toys for Bob about what fans can expect from the developers are planning for a "true sequel" to the beloved, classic Crash Bandicoot trilogy. We've also learned that Toys for Bob has said there will be no microtransactions in Crash Bandicoot 4, after a store listing had suggested the possibility.
